Once you decide to see a therapist, you may still feel apprehensive. It is totally normal to feel anxious about this. A large part of therapy is the therapist-client relationship. I am there to guide you and help you learn ways to live the life that you want to live. I do not have all the answers to your concerns, but I am a great listener and will engage you in a thoughtful way. During the first session, you will tell your story and we will discuss your goals for treatment. This is where we begin establishing our relationship.

To begin, we will meet once a week. It is often best, in the beginning, to meet more frequently and to decrease sessions as you meet some of your goals.
